This space is not about me. It is about Him.
Taking Domain exists to reveal the Kingdom of God hidden within Scripture — the same Kingdom Jesus said is like a treasure buried in a field, waiting to be uncovered. If you look closely, even the name Taking Domain carries the word KINGDOM inside it. That is not accidental. Everything here points back to Him.
This blog is a simple journey through the Word — not from an expert, but from a seeker hungry to understand the heart of God. As I read the Scriptures, I write what I see: the patterns, the questions, the struggles, the revelations, and the beauty hidden in each page.
A word about the writer
My name is Srinivasa Subramanian. I am not a pastor or a scholar. I am a husband, a father, and a reader of the Word who keeps stumbling upon patterns I did not see the first time.
These reflections are written from that place — the place of someone still being taught, still being surprised, and still being opened by the Word.
What gives me the freedom to write is also what keeps me cautious. I am writing what I see, not what I have mastered. If anything here helps you, it is because the Author of the Word reached past my limitations to meet you. If anything here feels unclear, please test it against Scripture, and let the Word always be louder than the writer.
Faces without races
Here, every reader is welcomed the same —
faces without races,
breed without greed,
a family shaped by grace.
No titles. No barriers. Only hearts learning together under the same King.
What you can expect here
A new reflection is usually published every few days, sometimes weekly. Most are short — five minutes of reading or less.
They follow the rhythm of whatever I am reading at the time, often from the Old Testament, where the patterns of God’s heart show up in surprising places.
If you are new here, you may want to start with a few selected reflections before exploring the rest.
The purpose
If anything on this site helps you see God more clearly, love Him more deeply, or walk with Him more closely, then the purpose is fulfilled.
May every insight point to Jesus, and may every word lead you back to the One who wrote the Word.
This is His story. We are just discovering it.
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
— Deuteronomy 29:29 (NKJV)
